Description
Direct and lead the team in the attainment of goals of the department aimed at providing high quality mechanical and electrical assembly for pumps and motors that satisfies customer requirements. Provides the leadership to improve Assembly performance to maximum levels of safety, environmental impact, quality, service and efficiency, within the applicable standards and financial internal controls framework.
Responsibilities
- Plan, set up and execute daily assembly and test of various components and assemblies for multiple orders in accordance with customer’s requirements
- Oversee the assignment of work schedules, establishing progress and communicating any deviations · Oversee the effective distribution of workload, establishing priorities and being responsible for day-to-day activities of the assigned work
- Provides ongoing leadership to the Assembly and methods, Performance Reviews, Labor Relations - Builds, motivates and retains a team that consistently meets production deadlines
- Maintains effective Cost Control & level of output efficiency by ensuring operating costs of the department are minimized through a lean but efficient assembly environment
